Saturday, June 20, 2009 at 9:00 AM - Sunday, June 21, 2009 at 5:00 PM (GMT+0530), Bangalore, Karnataka.

Hello Guys! After long time I am writing this blog. This blog is too late, but I try to make this as latest. Last week I attended the TechEd 2009 in Bangalore. The Bangalore community has already conducted TechEd for many times and this one was viewing the pure professional TechEd. The event was superb and eager to write this blog.
I registered TechEd 2009 through the BDOTNET community a month back. Then I had sent a group email to my organization and a mail to my friend circle about the TechEd 2009. All my colleagues and friends registered with additional interest. We had received the confirmation mail a week back from eventbrite .
Eventbrite had sent very nice mail and flexible options that whoever was not able to register, those professional can come there and attend the TechEd in waiting list basis. I exited the policy “Go Green” in the mail indirectly. I am proud, my organization using the “Go Green” policy.
The TechEd sponsored by five most popular top and esteemed organizations. The organizations list was as follows, Platinum Partner: Infragistics and Teleriik .Gold Partners: ineta and Microsoft-UGSS . Media Partner: Silicon India .
The event was organized by two popular .net and IT communities and One popular corporate trainers in India. The communities are BDotnet , BITPro and SymIndia.

The first day 20th morning 9.00am I was drive to the event. When I was entered there, I got two forms. One was events of the day with feedback and another is Infragistics feedback form. I was excited when I saw the crowd and the whole auditorium seats were occupied. The event was kicked off at 9:15am.
The first session was Key notes from Mr. Ramkumar.K (Director, Microsoft technology center) had creased for the feature technologies and Cloud Computing. He had spoken latest strategic and Green IT. The third session was ASP.NET. Ms. Chaitra (Intel) took the session. She detailed the required stuff for developers. The grand features were as follows, Code Snippet, Client mode, Routing Infrastructure, Search Optimization and etc. She was taken great features and sure to save a lot coding time. The session was very good and the each features of the presentation end with the demo for that feature. Example was very nice and easy to understand those features. She given more time to demo and explained excellent.
The break went far served with some hot tea/coffee.
The fourth session was Biz Talk taken by Mr. Kashi (Co-Founder of BDOTNET and Technical Architect, Infosys) – He started the session very soft in showing how BizTalk Server can come with a helping hand when architecture needs to integrate with different protocols and diverse technologies. Actually I have no chance to work more with Biz talk. The presentation had more contents. I can able to understand most of the presentation, how the input get to Biz Talk and how to share the format with different location and how can use the common format.
Finally the lunch break time arrived. The lunch was very good and well organized.
While we were taking lunch, I had a chance to discussion with Ms. Malathy Krishnan (SymIndia). She asks about feedback of the program then she noted our email address. She promised to send email to our mail address when the useful corporate training arranged in Bangalore.
After lunch you know everyone feel little lazy and too difficult to sit and listen the session. But the sense was reverse there.
Ms. Meena from SymIndia started the first session after lunch. She didn’t allow us to sleep there. She was very spiritual to take the session. The session focused to integration of BizTalk and WCF. She presented the complex architectural difference on WCF and BizTalk Server. The style of presentation exposed more professionalism.
The next session started by Mr. Vic (Technical Evangelist Infragistics, India). The session was getting started with Silver light 3. Vic was always fantastic and a man full of energy. The second day 21st morning 9.00am I was drive to the event. When I entered there, I got again two forms. One was events of the day with feedback and another is Infragistics feedback form. The crowd is little less than the first day session, but the auditorium seats were mostly occupied except few seats.
Day 2 started a few minutes late and I guess the agenda for the day altered a bit.
The first session was taken by Ms. Gayathri (SymIndia). The session was started, how to creating Custom Activities in WF. She elaborated the topic and detailed about the inner working of a Custom Activity of WF and obviously gives an idea about in her demo about the different circumstances of Workflow services. The session was very useful for beginner on WF, She is very good professional and technical expert in WF.
The second session was taken by Mr. Janakiram (Bell Labs) and Niraj Bhatt on Microsoft Azure Platform. Both are given excellent session about Cloud Computing. I got an initiative about Cloud Computing and the architecture design details. Thanks for presented the nice architect session with good experience.
Mr. Vic took the third session. The session was detailed about the keynote on Infragistics controls. He started with many cool controls in action for coming Silver light 3. The session was more enjoyable. But the audio system was not supported properly in this session. He introduced the new UX pattern platform Quince. He was brief about the importance of 3rd party tools in development and saving lot of time what exactly meeting the customers' expectations.
Past 1.6 year my team was using Infragistics in my project for Netherland client product. The time given for Vic was to less. He couldn't cover all the features because shortage of time, even through Vic was requested one minute and taken [15 mins. ;)] explained few more features out of it. I personally request Vic, to take a separate session for new controls and its features in Infragistics.
The break went far served with some hot tea/coffee.
The fourth session was conducted by Mr. Praveen Srivastava (Asthra Soft). The session was excellent and more professional. Everyone was much enthusiastic to learn new things from this session. The session covered main features of the SQL Server 2008. They are common objects (File Stream Object, Hierarchy Objects, Sparse Objects, Filtered Index and Spatial Objects) for real time usages. The QA session was very good, answer the style very nice.
I managed to get an INETA T-Shirt on question on SQL Server.
The question was why we can’t add more data type like more generic fixed things like (Daily, monthly, weekly and yearly)?
The answer from Praveen was, we can able to download the features from Microsoft Codeplex.

Vic introduced, two important his colleagues from Infragistics. Finally Kashi end with the vote of thank, it thanks to covered all the support team (Microsoft, Infragistics, Rv Dental college, SymIndia, Audio system and Catters). Really it is nice each and every one without forget. A job well was done by BDOTNET and BITPro and thanks to the sponsors for their helping hand in inspiring the skills of professionals.
At last they distribute the DVD of Windows Server 2008 R2 and Window 7 as give away but sadly missed the much expected Windows 7 DVD, which ran short soon. No issue, we can always have it download and get firsthand experience from Microsoft website for testing and review purposes.

Thanks for all the BDOTNET and BITPro managers and volunteers to present the good session. Good job yours, Keep it up and hope your team further to get more strength and should more popular around the communities.

Thanks for now.
